Thanks for entrusting CodeletIO with your code snippets, and your personal information. Holding on to your private information is a serious responsibility, and we want you to know how we're handling it.
We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we process it with your consent, or on another legal basis; we only require the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us; we don't sell it to third parties; and we only use it as this Privacy Statement describes.
Of course, the short version doesn't tell you everything, so please read on for more details!
User Personal Information
We connect our account system with Github OAuth API. Your Github public information will be collected as you allowed. Besides, your email will be kept as secret restricted data here though you set it as public data on your Github account.
We may collect information from website browsers, such as web server logs, or other log information, such as User session or activity logs. Techinical Information may be connected to User Personal Information such as a username or an email address, or to other potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.
We do not access private codelets unless required to for security reasons, to assist the codelet owner with a support matter, or to maintain the integrity of the service.
If your codelet is public, anyone (including us and unaffiliated third parties) may view its contents. If you have included private or sensitive information in your public codelet, such as email addresses or passwords, that information may be indexed by search engines or used by third parties. In addition, while we do not generally search for content in your codelets, we may scan our servers for certain tokens or security signatures, or for known active malware.
No, we do not share, sell, rent or trade User Personal Information with third parties for their commercial purposes.
